Festival Service Times

Below will be festival service times as they arise.

Please note - visitors especially, you do not have to pay or get a ticket, to attend any of our services.

Donations - There is a donation box in shul BUT this cannot be used on festivals except Chanuka and Purim.
However, any donation you wish to give will be very welcome and this can be handed to Jerry, our Synagogue Custodian, in an envelope. You will receive a letter of thanks once it has been banked.

ALL visitors are very welcome, regardless of orthodoxy, but please be respectful and follow the orthodox guidelines as follows:  Gentlemen should sit downstairs and have their heads covered. You can borrow a yamalke (kippur). Ladies should sit upstairs, unless they cannot climb stairs. In that case they can sit downstairs, but please arrange it with the synagogue custodian, Jerry. For disabled visitors we have a portable disabled ramp, that needs to be set up so please phone or email Jerry to arrange it. (number below).

Please stay for Kiddush and refreshments and a chat after the service.  For further details please phone either Anna on 017818 094 894/01822614203 or email: imannahi@hotmail.com
or phone Jerry on 07753 267 616 or email: phccaretaker@yahoo.co.uk or phccaretaker@gmail.com.

The next event will be Shavuot. As it begins the evening of June 8th after Shabbat goes out at about 10.30pm, it is too late for a shul service. However, you can say your own prayers and light the festival candles yourself.
Sunday June 9th and Monday June 10th the morning service will begin at 10 am. On Sunday June 9th there will be an evening service at 6pm. Yiskor will be during the second day June 10th after the reading of the Torah. The time depends on there being a minyan present. It will be later if there is, but earlier if not. The Honorary Officers and Trustees look forward to seeing you there. Hag Sameyach.
